Before starting my day, I begin with lemon or ginger water (room temperature preferably), then I carry on to make my morning tea. My top morning teas are fresh grated ginger tea, ginger with garlic skin, or ginger with turmeric. I make a power smoothie that combines fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables as well as protein. Usually, I prepare my fruits and veggies days in advance for convenience and just take the frozen bag, add nut milk or coconut water, protein powder, nuts and seeds. My favorite power smoothie is a combination of bananas, kale, spinach, Avocado, pear, coconut meat, coconut water, raw nuts (cashew, peanuts, walnuts) and seeds (pumpkin, chia, flaxseed), cinnamon, Ashwagandha Root Powder, Maca powder, and dates.
Once I finish my power smoothie, I am ready to start a happy and energetic day.
