I love vegetables and fruits.
Growing up, I couldn’t go on a day without a mango or some type of fruits around me. My family had to bribe with me sometimes with fruits (#mango) to eat any meal. So, you can only imagine how my cravings for fruits and veggies increased throughout the years. My cravings for fruits also made my plantbased/vegan lifestyle an easier transition.
Being a vegan has been the most rewarding journey of my life. Not only my health has improved, I have also become more compassionate for all human beings and animals.
I’m more focused and engaged in my daily life.
I’m happier and boasting with energy.
I’m healthier and mentally stronger.
Throughout my transition to an all plantbased lifestyle, I had to know my why’s. I studied myself, my emotions, my food, did my research. Once I knew why I wanted to change my lifestyle, it became an easy process, an enjoyable and incredible self-discovery, and thus made it a very rewarding journey.
My advice/tips to those transitioning to a healthier lifestyle (vegan/plantbased) is simple.
Find out why you want to become vegan

One thing you need to understand is that everyone has their reason for transitioning to a veganism lifestyle. For whatever reason it may be, your health, the animals, the environment, curiosity, or other factors, understand that you’re doing it for yourself and that you understand the process. Also, knowing that you are no longer part of causing pain and suffering to animals for their flesh will motivate you to keep up your progress. Make it your mission to reach out to other vegans, talk to them, ask for advice, do your research, and the most important thing is that DO NOT JUDGE yourself and others. Keep in mind that some people can go vegan in a day and never look back, others may take weeks, months to go vegan. So, DO NOT worry and drive yourself insane… GO AT YOUR OWN PACE.

Go and experience new food, textures, taste. You will have a new appetite for food. If you’re a foodie like myself, you’ll need to get creative with your food choice. I love cooking so it gives great pleasure to experiment and play with different fruits, veggies, etc.
Live free and enjoy the process
Enjoy yourself. Embrace the new person you are becoming. You’ll be amaze of how much you’ll learn about yourself, your body, you mind, and what’s on your plate.
Trust yourself
This is not math! There’s no basic formula to eating a certain way. By now you will know why you went vegan so trust yourself and be happy. Live free, travel, meet new people, indulge in delicious fruits, nuts, vegetables, grains, and BE FREE.
Embrace failure and mistake
Yes! Embracing my failures and embracing my mistake made me a much better person today. That is one advice I will leave you with. Admit your failure and mistake because after all you are human. You will learn to trust yourself, your process, your progress and that my friend will allow you to grow into an extraordinary person every single day.
